After a fresh installation of ERPNext v15 I got errors when trying to generate PDF document. The errors were returned from Wkhtmltopdf
I am not using Docker or any containerization. I installed ERPNext version 15 on Ubuntu 22 VM in Proxmox. I don’t have TLS on the ERPNext enabled, but the SSL is on the another machine before ERPNext.
So what solved my problem was:
Because some problems are from the folder permissions I found a proposal and executed:
sudo mkdir -p /nonexistent/.cache/fontconfig
sudo chmod -R 777 /nonexistent/.cache/fontconfig
Then edited with the user I installed ERPNext opened the folder: ~/frappe-bench/sites$
and edited the JSON config file: nano common_site_config.json
And added in this json file the following parameter at the end:
"host_name": "https://abc.myerp.com"
Where abc.myerp.com is my public URL to the ERPnext.
And finally I have restarted the BENCH with:
bench restart
