As much of the newbies are searching for methods to enable things like:

Here is how to enable developer mode and allow SSH connection to Jolla device with screenshots:
1. Choose icon “Settings”
2. then choose “System”
3. then choose “Developer mode”
4. then setup the options as shown below:

– setting password and saving it
** Note: When you try to use SSH connection to Jolla, make sure to put the correct username as usually the ssh connection takes your OS username. So use
username: nemo
and the password you have setup above to successfully connect to your Jolla !
